Business Development Manager

Join Kyocera, a global leader in printing and document solutions as our Business Development Managerin Auckland. Your new position will see you focused on new business customer acquisition while maintaining a high level of customer service to current customers to continue Kyocera's growth in the New Zealand Market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive direct sales and manage a dedicated portfolio of accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Identify client needs and propose tailored product solutions and upgrades
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and conduct product demonstrations
- Monitor competitor activity and contribute to strategic responses
- Lead the preparation and submission of tender responses
- Collaborate with internal teams to support technical, pre-sales and installation requirements
What We're Looking For:
- We are looking for someone who embodies our core philosophies of: 'possessing a fighting spirit', 'always being creative' and 'doing the right thing as a human being'
- Have experience with CRM systems and the ability to stay organised across multiple opportunities
- Have printer/MFD or related industry experience as a direct sales professional with a proven record of achieving sales targets in a business-to-business environment
- Hold strong knowledge of the business or capital equipment industries
- Have refined relationship developmental skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Be IT savvy - with strong influencing and negotiation skills plus the confidence to present to senior decision makers
· Strong Microsoft Office Skills with the complete Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
