Job Summary: the successful candidate will work in a small, high-performing team that washes and maintain commercial buildings across Auckland.

Overview of Bewashed Limited and the Role

We are a fast-growing commercial building wash company based in Auckland. We were established by high-performing technicians with 20+ years of combined experience. For the right candidate, we will invest time, energy and resources into teaching the hard and soft skills that will set you up for success in this industry – and any other future career. Pathways within our company include into team leadership and/or other management.

We do good work for customers, and we treat each other well. Our solid performance has won us several large clients, including an NZX-listed property company.

Future

We are increasingly undertaking remedial jobs (rope access painting, seal/gasket replacement, leak tests).

Remuneration

Minimum 32 hours per week guaranteed hours (negotiable). Starting hourly rate as specified above/below. Clear and transparent pay progression structure is in place, meaning employees understand how to increase their hourly rate.

Candidate must-haves

  1. IRAANZ or IRATA certification (preferred).
  2. Abseil / rope access building wash experience .
  3. Be living in NZ.

Candidate's ideal capabilities

1. Qualifications

IRAANZ & IRATA certification.

Working at heights certification – Unit Standard 15757.

EWP certifications – Unit Standards theory), scissor lift), boom lift).

Current Workplace First Aid Certification.

Current Site Safe Passport (either Building Construction or Civil Passport).

Minimum Full Class 1 Drivers License.

2. Experience

Building wash experience

Previous team lead and training experience.

3. Required Hard Skills:

Ability to demonstrate and execute the skills and knowledge required of an experienced Building Wash Technician.

Comprehensive knowledge of (working at heights) advanced rescue techniques.

Conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation.

Physically and mentally fit.

Strong vehicle handling (including single axle trailer) skills.
