We have an exciting opportunity at Wairarapa Hospital

We are looking for someone to coordinate the delivery of the Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) programme within Wairarapa Hospital. Reporting to the Charge Nurse Manager, Integrated Operations Centre, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring the safety of Wairarapa Hospital staff and improve the quality of care provided for the Wairarapa community.

This point in our CCDM journey is an exciting one as we head into a reset of the programme. This is a role that can make a real difference in ensuring the safe delivery of excellent care to our patients in the Wairarapa.

You will use your high honed communication and relationship building skills to work collaboratively to further develop and ensure the long-term success of the programme. As well as supporting improvement and functionality in the areas who have already implemented CCDM, you will enjoy the challenge of expanding the programme across Wairarapa Hospital.

The role works closely with the TrendCare Coordinator and the Operational Management Team in delivering on the agreed CCDM programme of work to the required standard. You will be integral to the governance of the programme and will work in partnership with key stakeholders to achieve safe staffing and high-quality outcomes.

This is a permanent 0.5 FTE position working a flexible 40 hours per fortnight, with hours and days of work to be negotiated with the successful candidate.

About the Team/Service/ Location

You will be part of the Wairarapa team. We are a small district but incredibly innovative and open to change. You will sit in our Integrated Operations Centre, with the team who lead our day to day operations, ensuring staff are supported to deliver patient care.

  • Has a sound working knowledge of the health care system
  • Has experience in frontline health service delivery
  • Is able to engage with a wide range of people from different health care backgrounds
  • Has great communication skills
  • Is a registered health professional
