Are you an experienced landscaper or gardener looking for your next career opportunity? Inside Out Design, a well-established landscape design, construction and maintenance company based in Christchurch, is currently seeking experienced staff to join their dynamic and growing team.

Working at Inside Out Design, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects, building or maintaining new and existing gardens across the city. We provide all the tools, uniform, and equipment you need, and offer an attractive hourly rate for the right candidate (s).

In this role, you'll be working alongside a professional and friendly team of landscapers, gardeners and designers. We enjoy a friendly work culture and offer opportunities for career development and travel around New Zealand for new installations and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the industry. You should also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as you'll be interacting with clients on a regular basis.

Requirements of the role include:

  • Maintain gardens including mowing, pruning, weeding, and pest control.
  • Build and install hard landscaping (paths, walls, fences, decking, etc.)
  • Prepare soil, install drainage, and shape landscapes.
  • Carry out planting, turfing, and irrigation installation.
  • Monitor plant health and carry out seasonal maintenance.
  • Supervise team members and coordinate with clients or contractors.
  • Work towards project timelines.
  • Ensure you are contributing to a positive and safe workplace culture.
