Resilience Manager

NHS Highland is seeking a full-time Resilience Manager to support the development of emergency preparedness, response, and recovery across health and care services. The postholder will contribute specialist knowledge, independent judgement, and technical leadership across a wide range of resilience functions including response and continuity planning, exercise development, and training delivery.
Working as part of a small, high-performing team, the successful candidate will lead the delivery of the Board's Resilience Work Plan, support senior managers in meeting their statutory obligations, develop and coordinate training and exercises, and oversee post-incident debriefing and organisational learning. The postholder must be able to analyse and present resilience data and produce clear, actionable reports. The role includes line management responsibilities and deputising for the Head of Resilience as required.
This is a key leadership role requiring strong analytical skills, sound decision-making under pressure, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across NHS Highland and wider partnerships. The postholder will represent the organisation at local and regional levels and contribute to the development and delivery of our Lead Agency responsibilities for the Care for People function. Experience in the NHS or a multi-agency setting is desirable.
Financial assistance with relocation may be available for the successful candidate.
