Practice Manager

Join Hobsonville Hearing, West Auckland's trusted independent audiology clinic, as our new Practice Manager. This full-time role is perfect for an organised, people-focused professional who thrives in a busy, caring environment. You'll oversee daily operations, support a small friendly team, and help shape an exceptional patient experience through great systems, communication, and community connection.

You'll be stepping into an important role at the heart of our clinic — and yes, you'll have big shoes to fill - our current practice manager has been with us for close to four years We're looking for someone who can continue the high standard of care and organisation our patients and team rely on every day.

• Managing the daily operations of the clinic and ensuring efficient appointment flow
• Overseeing patient communications, scheduling, and front-of-house coordination
• Supporting a small, friendly team of clinicians and maintaining a positive team culture
• Handling invoicing, payments, and supplier accounts
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering consumables
• Assisting with marketing initiatives, including social media content creation and management
• Designing and updating materials in Canva in line with our brand guidelines
• Coordinating community engagement events and promotional activities
• Ensuring compliance with clinic policies, privacy standards, and health regulations

• Previous experience in practice management or healthcare administration - this is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients and staff
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• High computer literacy, experience with Mac and Windows
• Confidence using patient management software, Microsoft Office, Xero
• Experience managing social media platforms and basic content creation using Canva
• A proactive, reliable approach with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• A genuine interest in supporting patient-centred healthcare

Experience within audiology or another health-related setting is preferred, but not essential — full training will be provided.
