Empowering retailers to deliver great shipping experiences is what we're all about. We're on the lookout for a high-impact, technically savvy Customer Success - Onboarding Specialist who brings energy, care, and a focus on delivering real value to our customers.
You'll thrive in the spotlight with customers, keen to spend your day helping them succeed. From onboarding to activation, you'll work to reduce churn and speed up time-to-value, helping brands launch quickly and confidently.
Please note this role is based in Auckland and requires you to be in the office 3 days a week.

We're all about delivering a seamless onboarding experience that sets our customers up for success. The team's dedicated, passionate, and genuinely enjoys helping retailers get the most out of Starshipit. We're here to make a real difference in their businesses and we don't take that lightly.
What You'll Do
- Be the key contact and trusted partner for onboarding accounts, delivering a world class customer experience
- Identify what would indicate a customer's "first value" and drive towards achieving it to ensure the customer is set up to realise Starshipit's total value
- Establish a trusted and strategic advisor relationship with our customers to help drive their implementation and in turn the value of our product and features
- Understand our customer's business and use this information to provide meaningful expertise, reporting and feedback to strengthen the relationship
- Have an in depth understanding of our product and its features - this will help you to understand what works or what makes our customers tick
- Manage prospects through onboarding to conversion to ensure long term customer retention
- Proactively communicate and deliver ROI for our customers by facilitating training throughout the customer journey.
- Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge and new learnings
- Stay ahead of the game with new changes to the industry or to our product
What You'll Bring
- Technically minded – comfortable picking up new tools and understanding how things work under the hood
- Self-motivated, accountable, and calm under pressure
- Energised by educating and delighting customers at every stage
- Able to juggle multiple tasks like a pro and keep things moving
- A knack for clear, concise communication – both written and verbal
- Proactive in spotting process improvements and finding ways to work smarter
- 1+ years' experience in onboarding or customer-facing roles
- Confident building and maintaining strong, meaningful relationships
- Comfortable navigating complexity and solving problems on the fly
- A true team player – collaborative, supportive, and great to work with
