We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated tutor to join our dynamic team at MSL Training. If you are passionate about transforming lives through education, this role is for you. We are seeking a tutor with experience in retail, customer service, and sales support (Level 2 and Level 3) to work at our Manukau campus. You will be someone who enjoys working with young people, understands their challenges, and is a strong motivator. With a passion for empowering students, you'll help them set and achieve their goals. This position is 30 hours per week. Do you have the following skills and attributes?

  • Must have demonstrated experience teaching or training within an education establishment or work environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of the Retail, Customer Service and Sales Support industry
  • High level of personal integrity and the ability to effectively communicate
  • The Ability relate to learners from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and learning needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including proficiency in digital and computing tools.
  • Proven aptitude for building capability in people
  • The ability to apply theory and industry relevance into the learning environment.
  • Understanding of Te Ao Māori and Pasifika worldviews, fostering an inclusive learning
  • Quick learner who can adapt and thrive in a fast-paced role.
  • Passionate about the success of our learners and willing to go above and beyond when needed

Ideally, candidates will have some or all of the following:

  • Adult teaching qualification and/or recent Tertiary teaching experience.
  • NCALE or Literacy/Numeracy teaching experience
