Christchurch Central, New Zealand ALH Limited Full time NZ$60,000 - NZ$80,000 per year

ALH Recruitment are proud to be working with a nationwide construction company with several long-term projects and are looking for additional experienced Carpenters. You will be working across Christchurch completing large and small scaled projects, renovations and new build.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Foundations and slabs
  • Timber/Steel wall and floor framing
  • Strip out old or damaged timber
  • Repair existing property elements where possible
  • Install and replace trim, moulding, windows and other various finishing work
  • Foundation repairs and replacements
  • Jacking & packing
  • Exterior cladding
  • Installing cabinets
  • Hanging doors
  • House repiling and releveling
  • Framing rooms wrap, baton and clad
  • Hang, repair and replace drywall/ gib as needed
  • Install floors, including wood floors, carpeting, concrete and other flooring types

What's on offer?

  • Competitive hourly rate, dependant on previous experience
  • Monday - Friday - 45 hours per week
  • Possible permanent contract for the right person
  • Christchurch or Canterbury Location
  • Long term projects

You will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience currently within construction and understanding the NZ building code
  • Full set of carpentry tools
  • Valid Site safe passport - we can assist with this
  • Ability to pass pre-employment Drug test
