At Wiri Timber, we specialise in the manufacture of high-quality timber wall frames and roof trusses for the residential market. We're expanding and looking for a motivated Labourer or Prenailer or Truss Presser to join our busy manufacturing division in Wiri, Manukau City.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right attitude to build a long-term future in the building supply industry.


What You'll Be Doing:
  • Tailoring out or feeding on computerised saws
  • Operating nail guns, staple guns, pressing equipment to assemble timber frames or trusses
  • Working as part of a tight-knit team to meet daily production targets
  • Lifting and stacking timber – must be physically fit and strong
  • Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised work area
  • Checking measurements and quality – attention to detail is essential

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience with nail guns or truss pressing equipment
  • Able to confidently read a tape measure
  • Physically fit, strong, and able to handle repetitive lifting
  • A team player who pulls their weight and supports others
  • A reliable, punctual, and safety-focused mindset
  • A great attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and improve
