Heli A1 is seeking a motivated and organised Operations Assistant to support our growing helicopter operations. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same – you'll be helping keep Heli A1 running safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pilots and operations staff in day-to-day activities
  • Assist with health and safety management, including compliance and documentation
  • Contribute to operational planning, job scheduling, and pricing
  • Coordinate staff logistics and resources to ensure smooth operations
  • Collect and manage operational statistics and data reporting
  • Represent Heli A1 professionally with clients and potential clients
  • Provide hands-on support as needed to keep operations running smoothly
  • Complete general administration tasks

About You

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and general digital systems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Able to work early mornings and occasional weekends when required to support the operation
  • Confident engaging with clients and team members
  • Keen attention to detail and proactive problem-solving attitude

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:

  • Health and safety management or compliance
  • Aviation, agriculture, or forestry industries
  • Operational coordination or logistics
  • An HT (Class 4 or 5) licence would also be an advantage
