About Plumbline
Plumbline delivers New Zealand's most extensive and inspiring bathroom collections, blending locally designed and manufactured products with exclusive international brands.
For more than 30 years, we've partnered with architects and designers to bring world-class bathroom design to life. Every product we offer - from statement basins to architectural fittings - reflects our passion for design excellence, craftsmanship, and innovation.
The Role
We're looking for a design-driven Architectural Design & Specification Manager to join our Wellington team.
This is a largely field-based role - you'll be out visiting and training the architectural and design community, actively promoting Plumbline's premium bathroom collections and driving specification growth. You'll plan and implement a regular call cycle across your region, ensuring architects and designers are supported with the latest product releases, samples, and project assistance. Through proactive engagement and presentation, you'll influence design outcomes and help Plumbline remain the preferred specification partner across New Zealand's design community.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and grow Plumbline's full product range within the design and specification market
- Proactively visit and engage with architects, designers, and specifiers, maintaining a structured call cycle
- Deliver inspiring presentations, CPDs, and showroom sessions that showcase design and technical excellence
- Assist with product specification and plan take-offs for design projects
- Identify, pursue, and convert new project opportunities through strong relationships and follow-up
- Maintain an accurate pipeline within CRM and achieve agreed sales, revenue, and margin targets
- Represent Plumbline at industry events and strengthen our brand presence and influence
About You
You have a natural flair for design and presentation, a strong appreciation for aesthetics and detail, and the confidence to engage at all levels of the design and construction process. You understand what makes spaces not just functional, but beautiful too.
You'll bring:
- Experience in sales, specification, or account management within the design, architecture, or building industry
- A keen eye for design with a genuine passion for architecture, interiors, and product styling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and influence creative professionals
- Proven ability to manage relationships and develop new business opportunities
- Strong organisational and commercial skills, balancing creativity with results
