We're on the hunt for glacier guides to join our team at Franz Josef Glacier Guides You may already have experience on the ice or be keen to learn - we have available positions for the right personality at differing experience levels

If you're new to glacier guiding, we'll provide you with training and a place to live on Te Tai o Poutini, the beautiful West Coast of Aotearoa as well as a competitive salary. You'll be living and working in one of the most iconic environments New Zealand has to offer Our supportive team environment means we'll be able to train you to become a fully qualified "hard ice guide" in accordance with the New Zealand Mountain Guides Association. Even better - you'll earn while you learn

A Little Bit About You

• You'll be passionate about guiding and want to develop your craft.
• You're passionate about providing a world class and once in a lifetime experience for our manuhiri.
• You'll be keen on maintaining a high level of fitness.
• You'll hold a valid first aid certificate.
• You'll have an understanding of, or an eagerness to learn and engage with our Ngāi Tahu values and te reo Māori.
