As our Senior Dental Assistant, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring exceptional patient experiences and efficient clinical operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing advanced chairside support across a range of general dental procedures
- Leading sterilisation and infection control processes to the highest standards
- Managing clinical stock, supplies, and equipment to keep the practice running seamlessly
- Mentoring and supporting junior Dental Assistants to help them thrive
- Confidently using Exact software for scheduling, charting, and patient records
- Assisting with reception and administrative duties when required
This is a varied and rewarding role where your initiative, leadership, and positive energy will shine.
QualificationsAbout You
You'll bring:
- 2–3 years' experience as a Dental Assistant (senior or leadership experience an advantage)
- NZDA certification (highly regarded)
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- A patient-first mindset and excellent communication skills
- Confidence with dental software and digital systems (Exact preferred)
- A reliable, proactive, and professional approach
- A friendly, positive, and team-oriented attitude that brings out the best in others
