The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a casual roled based in Manukau and working across South Auckland. Elements of the role may require travel. 

You will support some of the most vulnerable members of our community seeking a second chance and the opportunity for to grow, rebuild, and give back to their whānau and wider community.

You will be part of an exciting service that is innovating and growing, where new ideas are encouraged and new solutions are the norm

You | Mōu

  • Hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognized equivalent. Alternatively, you will commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with LinkPeople.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills, you'll quickly build credibility while showcasing your sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Empathy and compassion, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.
  • An ability to work at pace and flourish under pressure will be complemented by excellent attention to detail and proficiency in record keeping.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrate utmost commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi articles and working with Māori.
  • A full New Zealand driving license is also essential.
