We are looking for Engineering graduates with strong leadership potential to develop into the leaders of tomorrow for the Hynds group. You will possess a strong desire to succeed, the ability to work in a flexible, agile environment and a can-do attitude to tackle any learning opportunity thrown your way.
What you can expect
Hynds has Graduate opportunities in our Group Plastics, Technical Services or Supply Chain Teams within our 18-month Graduate Programme. Right from day one you will be working in a dedicated role adding value to the business and growing the foundations of a great career. Of course, you will have the flexibility to move around based on your skills, expertise and aspirations, but you can also be assured that you'll be contributing to Hynds and building your future from your first day on the job.
Whether you are working with our customers to develop bespoke precast engineered solutions or developing ways to lower the carbon footprint of our products, you will find yourself learning quickly with the support of a range of professional development activities, training, and access to industry-leading mentors.
What we are looking for
While we know your grades are important, we are more interested in your attitude and potential. We are looking for graduates with the following skills and attributes:
• A civil, mechanical or mechatronics engineering qualification
• A practical and commercially focused mind with a strong work ethic
• Ambition, drive, energy and the desire to learn and grow professionally
• Forward thinkers and problem solvers who innovate by challenging traditional ways of thinking
Who we are
The privately owned Hynds Group is New Zealand's premier product supplier for the management of water and water-based waste. The Group employ across New Zealand and Australia and includes concrete, metal and plastic manufacturing; product importation; distribution and trade supply.
