THE ROLE

You will assist our current in-house Mechanic to provide high-quality and timely servicing of our vehicles, achieving efficiency through process delivery, completing all relevant job and timecards while following the 5C Lean Training process around integration and compliance.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To undertake all routine service and repair work on vehicles.
  • Achieve prompt and accurate diagnosis of vehicle faults and service needs.
  • Carry out major repairs on vehicles eg. engine and gear box work.
  • Test drive vehicles upon service/repair completion
  • Strip and assembling vehicles for Panel shop and wrecking purposes.
  • Undertake the necessary training for new model vehicles
  • Maintain service schedules.
  • Maintain hand tools in an appropriate manner.
  • Manage the workshop in the Team Leader's absence.
  • Undertake Windscreen repairs (training will be provided)
KEY SKILLS NEEDED

· Good communication skills

· Ability to multi-task

· years experience

· To be trade qualified

· Ability to self-manage
