About the role

As a Senior Psychologist, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for:  

  • Completing comprehensive psychological assessments to identify risk, needs, and wellbeing domains
  • Facilitating and supporting group-based therapeutic programmes
  • Providing individual therapy
  • Delivering training to staff to strengthen therapeutic knowledge and intervention skills
  • Offering clinical supervision and consultation to the wider team

What we're looking for

  • Registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical, Child and Family, Counselling or Educational Psychology
  • Experience working therapeutically with tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau, or with clients with offending/problematic behaviour
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and psychometric testing
