We're looking for an immediately-available Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Clinical Portal team on a three-month contract (with potential for extension). This role is open to both fixed-term employment and independent contracting arrangements.

Our Clinical Portal is a secure, web-based platform that gives clinicians a unified, intuitive view of a patient's health record, integrating data from multiple healthcare systems. You'll play a key part in enhancing its front-end experience — ensuring it remains fast, accessible, and beautifully designed for healthcare professionals around the world.

*What you'll do*

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance front-end solutions using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to deliver new features and UI improvements.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and front-end best practices across the product.
  • Guide technical decisions, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor other engineers when required.
  • Deliver high-quality, production-ready code within a dynamic, Agile environment.

*What you'll bring*

  • Experience:
    5+ years as a front-end or full-stack engineer, with a strong focus on front-end architecture and UI development.

  • Technical skills:

  • Advanced skills in
    React
    ,
    TypeScript/JavaScript
    ,
    HTML5
    , and
    CSS (or CSS-in-JS)
    .

  • Experience with
    automated testing tools
    (Jest, Cypress, or Playwright).
  • Strong understanding of
    RESTful APIs
    and integration within complex systems.

  • Familiarity with
    AWS
    ,
    CI/CD pipelines
    , and
    accessibility standards (WCAG)
    is a plus.

  • Mindset:
