We are a busy Chinese cuisine take-away restaurant located in Dunedin South Auckland, open 7 days per week. We now require 1 full-time permanent Fast Food Cook to join in our team.

We offer at least 30 hours per week, work from Monday to Sunday on rotating roster, and our pay range is from $28.18/hour to $30/hour depending on your learning abilities. You will need to be able to work independently and effectively.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Checking ingredients to make sure the quality and freshness
- Cutting, washing, peeling, mixing raw food material and taking right measurement
- Preparing and cooking Chinese food in various utensils and grillers
- Seasoning, portioning, adding sauces to the food during/after cooking
- Arrange delivery for customers
- Cleaning up kitchen benches, cooking surfaces, and other cooking appliances
- Ordering kitchen supplies and other food and ingredients
- Taking food supplies delivery and checking the quality and quantity
- Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils
- Adhered to all hygiene & health and safety rules and our restaurant regulations

**No prior work experience is required for this role but could be an advantage. Priority will be given to local NZ residence/citizens.**
