**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The Auckland Regional Pain Service (TARPS) provides quality pain management to the people of Auckland and beyond. TARPS provides clinical assessment and management of acute and chronic pain utilising an interdisciplinary approach. TARPS is accredited by the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPM) interdisciplinary pain management unit to provide approved training during the core training stage.

We are looking for an experienced pain specialist to join our multi-disciplinary team providing secondary care and treatment to outpatients that form the culturally diverse Central Auckland population.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Medical degree, Anaesthetic postgraduate degree and/or Fellowship in Pain Medicine or equivalent background and education.
- Specialist Registration in Pain Medicine with MCNZ or you are eligible for one.
- Experience dealing with members of the public.
- Previous experience in Physical Health or Medical settings is essential, with either experience or a strong interest in supporting patients with suffering acute and chronic pain.
