**About the Role**:
Are you a senior nursing professional with a passion for patient flow, safety, and operational leadership? Join our dedicated team as a Duty Nurse Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Acting as the senior operational leader after hours, ensuring smooth hospital operations.
- Managing patient flow and bed utilisation, adhering to the bed management policy.
- Identifying and mitigating immediate risks to patients, staff, or facilities.
- Coordinating emergency responses and disaster plan activations.
- Supporting a work environment where staff feel valued, safe, and supported.

**About you**:

- Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand as a Registered Nurse.
- Evidence of postgraduate qualifications or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of acute nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
