Cash Settlements Analyst

As a Cash Settlements Analyst here at FNZ, your responsibilities will encompass market settlement and client payments, deposit matching, exceptions-based cash investigations, interest rate monitoring and regulatory reporting. The role involves close collaboration within the team, active involvement in project work, audit and testing. Continuous efficiency initiatives are key.
You will work as part of a supportive team and contribute to the smooth execution of our financial operations team and support the growth of our platforms and services.
The responsibilities will include:
- Handle client cash transactions and ledger processing, as well as processing daily market transactions, client payments and client FX trades.- Ensure team tasks are completed within agreed service levels and meet quality key performance standards, including reporting exceptions, completing team controls, managing client queries, and escalating issues.- Participate and contribute to regular team meetings and discussions.- Collaborate with, and support others in the team through peer reviewing, helping with team projects, especially technology solutioning of cash services.- Support the maintenance of up to date and accurate interest rates across all platforms for supported currencies.- Team record keeping as required to ensure the platform administration processes are transparent to regulators and internal and external auditors.- Participate in audits and systems testing.- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant financial field advantageous.- Back Office operational experience would be advantageous.- Intermediate Microsoft Office ability.- Able to prioritise work and manage multiple conflicting deadlines across the day.- Attitude to execute, deliver and succeed.- Proven communications skills - both written and verbal.- Enthusiastic, self-driven and able to work autonomously, or in a group as needed.- After full training is completed, FNZ operates a hybrid working environment with a minimum of 3 days in the office required.
