We currently have an exciting opportunity for an engaging and process driven Team Leader to join our French Fry processing line at our Timaru production site.

**About the role**
Reporting to the Process Shift Manager, this role takes accountability for the forward planning and day-to-day operation of the French Fry Processing shift and all the resources allocated to this operation. Key competencies are measured around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Reporting Functions, Employment Relations and Environment. Key to this role is to understand, comply and where necessary enforce, company policies and practices currently in place and any new policies/practices that are implemented.

In addition, the role will take a hands on approach in promoting/improving Health & Safety culture and ensuring compliance within the processing areas as well as acting as a key member of the Shift Management group and responsible for the adherence and sustainment of all the Plant Programmes, Policies and Procedures. The role will also take a very ‘hands on’ approach to develop a strong team within the Processing Areas. Completing Personal Development and Training Programmes for each employee.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing Processes, Safety, Quality (HACCP, GMP), Warehouse Management Systems and Environmental Management System.
- Background in food packing.
- Demonstrated ability as a team player with good organizational, people and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel
- Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of unconnected projects with a result focus orientation, a logical thinker and good problem solving skills.
- Good people and communication skills (across multiple departments and all levels of personnel).
- Results orientation with the ability to work on a variety of unconnected projects.
