Freedom Medical Alarms is an MSD accredited medical alarm provider and is a jointly owned business between HealthCare NZ and Wellington Free Ambulance. With our joint partners we have a long standing tradition of supporting our communities to feel safe in their home with our products and monitoring services.
**About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga**
The Sales & Service Contractor reports to the Freedom Alarms Manager and is responsible for providing the highest possible standard of medical alarm service, educate prospective clients about the service and completion of installed alarms and provide excellent client support, accurately completing documentation, and complying with the Code of Conduct and TSANZ service standards.
This role has a retainer and is still strongly commission-based structure and will include following up referrals, installing medical alarms and maintenance orders for medical alarm clients.

- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and report writing skills
- Relationship management skills being building rapport and active listening with internal and external contacts
- Efficient time management skills with the ability to prioritise the workload
- Ability to cope under pressure when there are high volumes of installations and work orders required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated experience providing prompt, efficient and personalised customer service
- Ability to keep up with advancing technology and updated medical alarm equipment
- Experience in sales is preferred
- Experience in the Health Care Industry and sector legislation
- Clean and current New Zealand Driver's Licence and have own reliable vehicle
