We are looking for a Farm Manager to join us on a permanent basis to oversee and supervise farm operations in the Waikato region.
- Managing and supervising the planting & harvesting plans
- Directing staff on how to perform their work duties and how to adhere to health and safety regulations. Communicates clearly and openly.
- Ensure that successful seasonal horticultural activities lead to a top-quality product year after year.
- Effectively managing and leading staff through compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage, train, lead and mentor orchard staff and contractors during the seasonal activities
- Analysing and overseeing the existing farming operations.
- Scheduling repair and maintenance work on various farming tools and machinery
- Managing the marketing & sales operations of all products produced on the farm.
- Communicate with the Director to ensure that the work of the highest quality is performed on a daily basis
- Ensure compliance with health and safety.

You will be required to work minimum of **30 hours per week.**
- Should be adaptable.
- Practical and good at solving problems.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing farm conditions.
- Well organised, with good planning skills.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
