We're looking for a proactive and collaborative **Advisor - Regulatory Practice** to join our Resource Markets branch at MBIE. This is a unique opportunity to support the design and delivery of regulatory information and service design initiatives that build understanding, capability, and compliance across the resources regulatory systems.

You will;
- Support the development and delivery of awareness initiatives, guidance, and engagement collateral.
- Translate technical and legislative information into plain English for diverse audiences.
- Assist in planning and delivering stakeholder engagements, including webinars, website content and presentations.
- Develop fit-for-purpose implementation materials to support new and changing policy.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and respond to stakeholder concerns with practical solutions.
- Build strong relationships across operational areas, regulatory systems, and policy teams.

**Skills and Experience Required**

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

- A general understanding of regulatory capability and its role in compliance.
- Experience designing and coordinating public information and guidance initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
- Understanding of Parliamentary and government structures and processes.
- Proven ability to build professional relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- A delivery-focused mindset with a can-do attitude and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Commitment to public service values and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Knowledge of New Zealand's resource and energy systems is desirable.
- Legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
