We are for looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in Tauranga. This means being part of a multi-cultural team whose individual differences makes the team stronger. We push boundaries and go beyond the conventional approaches every single day. We are also dedicated to developing and sharing technical innovation and sustainable practices.

Every day will be different and provide different challenges and variety. Overall, you can expect to:

- Provide technical design advice for structures and multi-disciplinary projects of reasonable complexity
- Gain experience in work planning and financial management for local, national, and international projects
- Build and foster internal and external relationships that lead to repeat work
- Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking, and consulting skills
- Be passionate about learning and seek feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$64,000.00 - $96,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is full time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

You are someone who is interested in building on your timber design skills. From residential to commercial timber, we have complex projects that need passionate people to deliver.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Relevant New Zealand or overseas qualification, and two years of work experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
- A passion for design and problem-solving.
- Enquiring mind, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to think laterally.
- Enthusiasm and motivation to learn from colleagues.
- Working towards or possessing professional certification (preferred).
