Site Inspector

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Inspector to join our Structural team in Tauranga. This role will see you inspecting over 60 projects across the region, where you’ll be across all site inspections and construction monitoring at every stage.

**About the role**

As our Site Inspector, you will be responsible for comparing structural design drawings and specifications with onsite construction. You will be able to identify discrepancies between on-site construction compared to the consented plans and specifications and communicate this to our Structural Engineering team. You will then document and report on your observations, liaising with all relevant parties.

**About you**
- Qualified with a Civil Engineering Diploma with focus on Structural; BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Extensive practical experience in a similar role with working knowledge of observations at CM3 level and construction monitoring
- Conversant with relevant NZ Building Codes and statutory requirements
- Have a high level of attention to detail with excellent planning and sound problem-solving skills you will take pride in producing quality documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with Structural Engineers, Construction Managers, Site Foreman, Council Officers and contribute to the overall project delivery
- Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people
