The Bay of Plenty Clinical Trials Unit delivers clinical trials at Tauranga Hospital, Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty. A permanent position is available for an experienced NZ Registered Nurse to work as a Research Nurse within the Clinical Trials Unit. Previous clinical trial experience would be advantageous. The position is full-time (40 hours per week) with hours negotiable for part-time with the successful applicant.
You will work in a team of Research Nurses, whose role is to co-ordinate clinical research activities from the feasibility stage of a trial to close out, inclusive of administrative and nursing tasks. You will work closely with clinicians based at Tauranga Hospital, research sponsors, and external vendors, as well as with patients. This is an exciting opportunity to move into the Clinical Trials field with training and support provided.

- A current NZ nursing practising certificate
- Patient focused
- Significant clinical experience (5+ years)

- Strong IT literacy and administrative skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated
