Pest control Assistant / Water blasting Technician

At Eco Home services we endeavour to provide high quality pest control and water blasting services tailored to our residential and commercial clients.We are presently looking for 2 pest control technicians / Water blasting techniciansto join our team.

Due to the nature of this role, hours could include working early mornings, evenings, and nights, Monday to Friday and the weekend, so flexibility is very essential.

We are offering full time (30 hours) job with competitive payrate in the industry ($29.70 per hour).

Responsibilities include:
- Assist the pest controller to inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation.
- Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
- Assist in measuring the dimensions of the area needing treatment.
- Assist in using baits and setting traps to remove, control, or eliminate pests.
- Ability to drive vehicle equipped with power spraying equipment.
- Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building.
- Operate and maintain Water blasting equipments.
- House washing, window cleaning, roof &gutter cleaning, fence, deck, concrete & pathways cleaning,unload, and handle material.
- Ensure that all environmentally harmful waists were disposed of properly.
- Follow Health and safety procedures.
- Reporting any issue to the manager.

Skills and Experience required:
- Must have a reliable transport and a full license.
- Physically fit as the job demands working on feet for long hours.
- Must be flexible with hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Maintaining quality and service standards by resolving the customers problems
- Dedicated approach to providing solutions to any task with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience working in a team environment as well as independently when needed.
- A sound understanding of maintaining a safe work environment.
