**The Role**

We welcome experienced and seasoned HVAC technicians But, if you are new to the industry, you will gain the ability to develop your technical skills and confidence in hands-on with experienced HVAC technicians.

This is an exciting role that offers lots of variety as we work across a diverse portfolio - from Community centres, libraries, administration buildings, swimming pools, etc.

**About the role**
- Undertaking all planned preventative maintenance work in accordance with the maintenance schedule, achieving KPI’s every month
- Prioritising reactive and breakdown maintenance tasks
- Performing refrigeration work and mechanical services, including the performance of peripheral and incidental tasks
- Completing relevant work management dockets, work feedback, inventory, and general maintenance reports

**Conditions**
- Hourly Rate (dependent on experience): $35.00 - $40.00p/h
- Monday to Friday, 7.30AM to 3.00PM
- This is a full-time, permanent role at minimum 40 hours a week
- Overtime after 45 hours

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, your expertise will ideally lie within a commercial HVAC service and maintenance area, particularly within Facilities Management.
Further to this, you will have:

- A minimum NZ Level 4 HVAC/Refrigeration qualification
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with installation and maintenance of heating, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems
- A good understanding of New Zealand mechanical services standards
- A valid driver’s license (Class 1,2,4 is advantageous)
- Strong team player; has worked collaboratively with others
- Most importantly, willingness to learn
