**Some of the responsibilities include**:

- Ensures that the Guest Services activities in the Guest Services departments are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.
- To identify market needs for the Guest Services department.
- To plan the outlet weekly rosters and work schedules to ensure that the outlet is adequately staffed to handle the level of business.
- To ensure that all Guest Services staff are well versed in hotel products, services and promotions.
- To ensure effective day to day operation of the Guest Services team.
- To have a thorough understanding and knowledge of all food & beverage items on the menu and the ability to recommend Food & beverage combinations and up sell alternatives.
- Works closely with other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests

**Qualifications**:

- Well developed Communication and Customer Relations Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven complaint Handling skills
- Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels
- Essential knowledge of hotel operations
- Minimum 2-3 years in an Assistant Manager role
- A form of Degree achieved in Hotel Management
