mahi (About this position)
In this district-wide role you
will work with the Clinical Governance Support Team, regulatory agency
representatives and clinical multi-disciplinary teams to enhance the
development of a consumer-centred culture of continuous safety and quality
improvement across the Te Whatu Ora Health system.
You will have the specific
focus of co-ordination and management of patient events which involve Coronial Services
and the Health and Disability Commission. You will provide Adverse Event Review
support and build and sustain constructive relationships with internal clinical
service leaders and external investigative and regulatory agencies.
This will ensure that systems
and processes support the development and maintenance of an effective and robust
Clinical Governance environment. This role also supports the organisations
- Choosing Wisely - program.
The working
hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm. The salary range is between $90,982 and $95,771 per annum pro rata.

To succeed in this role you will be engaged,
motivated and dedicated to quality improvement and safety. You will have significant previous
relevant experience in working with regulatory agencies and consumers, and
within a large and complex organisation. You will be
someone who builds and maintains effective working relationships, influences and
motivates others and works collaboratively.
You will ideally
also have a sound working knowledge of the functions of the Health and Disability Commission, Health Quality
and Safety Commission, and Coroner - s Office.
hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.

Ora staff must have completed their primary course of two NZ approved COVID-19 vaccinations.
