Seeking a reliable and methodical Class 5 Dayshift Fuel Tanker driver in Nelson area.

NPD Ltd has built an enviable reputation supplying the fuel industry for over 50 years. NPD is 100% New Zealand owned and operated with our Head office in Nelson. We operate a well-maintained modern fleet of Scania Trucks, New Zealand built tankers and Isuzu Mini Tankers

We are seeking a reliable and methodical driver with a strong work ethic to join our fuel team. This position is for a full-time permanent Dayshift Class 5 Fuel Tanker driver based in Richmond. Days of work will routinely be Monday to Friday with overtime available when required.

Imperative to this role is a good level of physical fitness, excellent communication skills and a commitment to adhering to safety standards and fuel handling procedures.

We have a highly experienced team who have a ‘can do’ attitude and are willing to help with tasks that may be outside the main scope of work. If you have a great attitude and you are an adaptable energetic team player, then this is the role for you.

We take pride in our fleet and expect that our drivers will have exceptional levels of pride in the equipment that they are entrusted to use.

A minimum of 3 years’ Class 5 experience on NZ roads on a clean license, with supporting referees. While a DG license and experience in the fuel industry or live loads would be advantageous, it is not a necessity as training will be offered.

You will be required to comply with NPD’s Drug and Alcohol policy, applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and drug test.
