He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
- This role coordinates the daily activity of Kaupapa Māori community nursing services and specialist outpatient clincs.
- Supports Urihaumate in the community with nursing needs, including complex clinical health conditions.
- Kaupapa Māori model of nursing care across a variety of settings.
- Support from an enthusiastic team.
- Support to undertake Post Grad study.
- A dynamic, fast paced environment well supported in terms of your professional development and wairuatanga.
- Championing and supporting Toi Ora knowledge and competence within the workforce.
- Join our team as we work to create a future where our mokopuna are raised in Mana Atua, Mana Tupuna, Mana Whenua, Mana Moana and Mana Tangata.
- As a team we provide support and manaakitanga to assist eachother on our journey to be Toi Ora leaders.

He Kōrero mōu - About You
- Someone with a passion to make a difference for urihaumate and whanau.
- Has an understanding and readiness to champion for Māori community with relationships across variety of settings.
- Kaupapa Māori nursing experience an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to te reo me ona tikanga.
- Demonstrates, exudes, and embeds behaviours consistent with He Pou Oranga Tāngata Whenua and the BOPDHB Manaakitanga values.
- Highly organised leader, dedicated to achieving excellent outcomes for urihaumate Māori.
