We are seeking a talented Network Operations Support Technician to join our Information Network Operations Centre (INOC). This is an entry level position with opportunities for progression as your experience, skill set and training increase.
In the role you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting a range of systems at the technical heart of the New Zealand Intelligence Community. You will work closely with partner organisations within New Zealand and overseas, operating unique technology to support important work.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A strong customer service ethic, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a sole-charge shift environment.
- An awareness of Service Management principles and processes.
- An understanding of Local Area and Wide Area network operation and maintenance.

Our Support Technicians work on a 24/7 shift basis, reflecting the need for our networks and systems to be continuously operational, and to mitigate the potential for significant events which may occur at any time of the day or night. Support Technicians also work during normal business hours when required to conduct training and administrative tasks.
