As we continue to grow and expand our service offerings, we have a new opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our specialist Engineer to Contract team. Perhaps you have a special interest in contracts, or maybe you’ve supported a QS team or legal team in an administrative role. This might have been within a consultancy, main contractor or property services organisation. **About the role**:
We’re looking for a detail person Your day to day will involve drafting and issuing contract instructions and managing variations and monthly payment claim processes. It’s a specialist role which will really suit someone who loves working with large quantities of information with accuracy, and to deadlines.
You’ll be joining a successful specialist team where you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best, based in a brand-new workspace overlooking the waterfront.
Here's a breakdown of some of the tasks you’ll get involved in:
- Assists with preparation of contract instructions
- Schedule meetings and support with the preparation and distribution of agendas
- Attend project meetings, take minutes and follow up actions
- Track and monitor receipt and review of variations
- Support the monthly payment claim process
- Provide professional service delivery and support to TBIG project team.
- Engage with and develop relationships with project stakeholders including the client and contractors
**About you**:
To enjoy this role and be successful, you’ll be detail focused and highly organised. You thrive in a structured environment and you’re unfazed by the need for consistent accuracy and rapid turnaround times.
You’re keen to learn more about the complexity of contracts and ready to soak up lots of information working as part of an experienced team. Importantly, you’ll have an eye towards the future and be keen to continue to progress your career through experience, exposure and mentorship.
You will be a great communicator and advocate of collaborative working environments, possessing a "can do attitude" where you’re happy to roll up your sleeves and get involved.
**You’ll be able to demonstrate**:
- Experience in an administrative role within a related sector
- A strong desire to learn and curious to expand and specialise in contracts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Previous work experience that demonstrates commitment and some industry knowledge
- Personal attributes which show a strong alignment with our values
