**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Kaitiaki to provide assessment services and programme support to our tauira (students) in the delivery of our Home-Based Learning programmes. These programmes enable tauira to complete their studies from the comfort of their own home, their workplace or a nominated location.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Delivering assessment services in a timely, respectful and appropriate manner for our suite of study at home programmes in: tikanga Māori, business, Māori language for beginners and money skills that are in line with the specific programme delivery
- Delivering a high level of customer service to all tauira that includes scheduling visits, and engaging and encouraging tauira to complete all assessments.
- Ensuring all assessments and supporting administration is completed as required against the programme delivery schedule.
**Ideally you will have**:
- Unit Standard 4098 - Level 4
- National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (NCALNE) - Level 5 (desirable)
- An adult teaching certificate would be an advantage
- A certificate level qualification in Tikanga Māori or Te Reo Māori is desirable
- Full clean NZ Driver’s License (essential)
- Police vetting is a requirement for this role
