**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Kaiako to teach tauira Te Kūnenga o te Reo L3 & L4. This programme is done through face-to-face delivery at our Porirua campus and is ideal for someone that would like to enhance the tauira experience in achieving their next step of their journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To develop lesson plans and presenting material to tauira
- Monitor and assess assignments, evaluate tauira progress and enabling tauira achievement
- Continuously support, motivate and inspire tauira by promoting a collaborative, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Diploma in Te Reo Māori L5 or higher;
- NZ Certificate in Adult & Tertiary teaching L5;
- NZ Certificate in Assessment Practice L4 or equivalent;
- 3 years’+ experience in Te Reo Māori and adult teaching;
- Experience in Ako Whakatere methods of teaching, learning and delivery will be an advantage;
- Fluent in spoken and written Māori
- Full clean NZ driver’s license.
