**Te Haeata/The Opportunity**
Come and join our committed and fun payroll team. The main responsibility is to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time each fortnight, for both the Ministry and Judiciary. You will look after a portfolio and manage employee changes from processing new employees right through to final pays and queries, in an efficient and professional manner. You will be supported by a Senior Payroll Officer who will assist in development and growth in your role during your time with us.
**Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience**
This is a fixed-term parental leave cover, so we will be looking for someone with previous payroll experience. If your experience looks a little different from what we have outlined and believe you can bring value to the role, we'd love to hear from you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Payroll experience, data entry for payroll changes.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Good communicator both written and verbal.
- Ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and effective networks across the Ministry.
- Confident experience with MS Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
Previous experience with SAP Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll would be an advantage.

**Utu ā-tau/Salary**
The appointing salary for this role will be between $59,729 and $80,794 based on skills and experience.
