As a Produce Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of freshness, quality, and presentation of our produce section. You'll be part of a vibrant team, ensuring our fruits and vegetables are displayed attractively, assisting customers with their queries, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and efficiency of the department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the produce display is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Conduct quality checks to maintain the highest standards of freshness and remove any damaged items.
- Assist customers with questions, including providing advice on produce selection and storage.
- Work closely with the produce manager to manage inventory and minimise waste.
- Participate in setting up promotional displays and seasonal adjustments to the produce section.
- Hours - to be determined, but will involve some evenings and weekend work.

**Requirements**:

- A passion for quality food and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks or challenges.
- Previous experience in produce is advantageous.
