**About the Role**

You’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for picking, preparing, processing and packing fresh fruits and vegetables to meet customer orders.

**Location**: Ihumātao Road, Māngere
**Start Date**: Immediate
**Days**: 6 days/week (Saturday off)
**Positions Available**: 2

**Role 1 - Permanent, Full-Time**
- **Position**: Prepared Produce Assistant
- **Shift**: Morning (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)

**Role 2 - Fixed-Term (Parental Leave Cover)**
- **Position**: Produce Assistant
- **Shift**: Evening (4:30 PM - 01:00 AM)
- **Fixed term**: Oct 2025 - Mar 2026

**Key Responsibilities**
- Picking, weighing, and packing fresh produce orders
- Assisting with dispatch and inventory restocking
- Operating machines to peel, core, slice, and dice produce
- Cleaning and processing fruits and vegetables
- Inspecting product quality before packaging
- Receiving and storing goods
- General housekeeping and maintaining a clean work environment
- Adhering to strict food safety and health & safety protocols
- Performing heavy lifting (up to 20kg)

**Work Environment**

This is a manual, hands-on role in a temperature-controlled (cold) environment, requiring dexterity, physical fitness, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.

**About You**

We’re seeking reliable, hardworking individuals who can work independently and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Experience in fresh produce, warehousing, or pick-pack roles
- Previous work in chiller or depot environments
- Reliable transport and flexibility with working hours
- Clear communication skills and a positive attitude
- Dexterity and attention to detail for handling produce and machinery
- Knowledge of basic food ingredients and NZ work experience
- Intermediate literacy and numeracy skills
- Forklift license (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of food quality, health and safety requirements
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and consistently
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
