**About you**
We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor who will be providing technical support and to oversee the successful delivery of contracting projects from inception to closure including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling to achieve specific goals and success criteria of the customer and Northpower of safety, quality, on-time completion, and budget.- An industry background in the Transmission and Electrical Sector
- Proven supervisory experience with critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Great communication and strong interpersonal skills preferably experienced in working in a multi-cultural environment
- Knowledge and experience in Transmission Line construction and maintenance
- National Certificate Electricity Supply (NCES) Line Mechanic - Transmission Level 4 or E1, E2, TLM or equivalent
- National Certificate of Electrical Engineering Level 4 or equivalent
- Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements, and the relevant Parts of the Safety Manual - Electricity Industry (SE-MI)
- HT license, class 2 or 4 (desirable) with NZ Driving License, class 1
