**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our enthusiastic, dedicated Radiology Nursing Team here at Tauranga Hospital.
This is a permanent full-time position working 80 hours per fortnight and has a requirement to work Monday to Sunday shifts, to cover the service 0800- 2000 hours. The role of the Health Care Assistant is to assist the Registered Nurse's to deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients.
This is a role that will require high levels of organisation and communication liaising with other health care professionals to make sure the needs of our Radiology patients are met.
You will be working alongside some experienced professionals including Consultants, Registrars, Registered Nurses, and MRT's. Therefore, it is essential you enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, have great communication skills as well as being organised, focussed and supportive.
Ideally the successful applicant will have Health Care Assistant level 4 certificate or equivalent.
