Te Rau Ora is a national centre dedicated to Māori Health and Wellbeing in Aotearoa. Our vision is a future where whānau thrive, are self-determined, and well. We're driven by the goal of building a Māori workforce that leads the design and delivery of health services across Aotearoa, improving outcomes for Māori. With a foundation in tikanga Māori and guided by Mātauranga Māori, Te Rau Ora has a presence nationwide, with offices in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Pōneke (Wellington), and Ōtepoti (Dunedin).

**About Education and Training Group**

The Education and Training group is newly established to design, develop, and deliver workforce and tertiary education programs that focus on determinants of health and the shift towards a wellness model of care. This rōpū is comprised of Te Whare Whakangungu, Te Rau Matatau, Rangatahi ora and Centre of Māori Suicide Prevention.

**The Opportunity**

As the Administrator for the Rangatahi Development Fund, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Rangatahi Māori have a seat at every decision-making table where their voices matter. You will have a seat at every decision-making where their voices matter. You will be assisting the Rangatahi Ora Lead create opportunities, craft initiatives, and facilitate resources that empower Rangatahi to shape their own destinies.

**Your Role**:

- Administration: You will be the catalyst for change, ensuring that Rangatahi Māori are not just heard but actively engaged in shaping programs and initiatives that directly impact their lives
- Funding and Procurement: Your adept management skills will ensure that the Rangatahi Development Fund is efficiently administered, with resources allocated strategically to initiatives that foster growth, resilience, and empowerment among Rangatahi.
- Relationship Building: Forge partnerships with key stakeholders, communities, and organisations to amplify the impact of our initiatives and create a supportive ecosystem where Rangatahi can thrive.
- To work with the Rangatahi team to collective advance the work of the Centre of Māori Suicide Prevention at Te Rau Ora.

**Hours**: Fixed-term part-time (20 hours per week).

**Location**:This role is based in our Kirikiriroa (Hamilton) office.
