**Mō te tūranga | About the role**

Work as a partner to the business to advise organisations and individuals on grants, sponsorships and scholarships that are supported by Waikato Regional Council and to manage the associated funding process.
- Permanent role, 20 hours per week.
- Develop and manage the funding processes across the business.
- Develop and maintain an accountability framework to illustrate benefits derived from Councils grants and scholarships.
- Support the identification and development of new funding opportunities.

**Mō te tangata | About you**
- Skilled at establishing excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Has an understanding of private and public funding models, opportunities, and potential funders.
- An enthusiastic team player and be able to demonstrate strong leadership.

**Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience**
- Five or more years working in central and/or local government agencies, non-government organisations, or community sector.
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in relevant disciplines.

- Reporting to the Manager Business Advisory Services, you will work within the Finance and business services directorate, which supports the Waikato Regional Council mission through the provision of a broad range of professional services.
