**The Role**

We are looking for a new General Hand to join our Accessories division at FMI Building Innovation.

**The opportunity**

**Do you have the work skills and attributes FMI Building Innovation are looking for?**
- Experience using basic hand tools
- Good communication in English, both verbal and written
- Good numeracy skills as a minimum
- Reliable and punctual
- Works well with others

This role is focused on manufacturing components for our operations, loading and unloading jobs on CNC, managing the machines by cleaning the hinges and other components, cutting the components on saws, feeding the bars on the press, putting stock away, and other factory tasks.

While you will mainly be working in the warehouse, there may be times when you will need to move larger vehicles, therefore having a full license will be more beneficial.

You will report to a team leader, and work within a team to ensure that the quality of products is up to standard.

Some basic computer skills and knowledge will be required; while any experience working in a manufacturing warehouse is valuable. In saying that if you don’t have any experience working in the manufacturing business, we are more than willing to teach you the job and our industry.

If you have a Fork lift license it would be an advantage, but we provide training if you don’t.

This position is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, hours are flexible with the opportunity to work overtime when required.
