**About us**:

We are searching for a Senior Evaluator to share research and evaluation data and findings with Crown and Government agencies, our Board and our regional Pae Motuhake.

**The role**:
As the Senior Evaluator you will be required to build and maintain a variety of relationships, both internal and external, and work towards achieving the Te Mātāwai vision. Duties will include:

- Leading the implementation of a monitoring and evaluation work programme and refreshing this framework annually
- Identifying measures and outcomes and conducting a wide variety of evaluation assessments
- Producing and distributing procurement plans, request for proposals and investment criteria, working closely with the Research Manager to prepare evaluation scopes and implement the procurement process
- Supporting the implementation of a medium-long term strategy to capture baseline data and creating and maintaining a knowledge system
- Analysing and summarising evaluation data and insights to identify key trends, findings and potential opportunities
- Preparing reports on data and evaluation insights that align to Te Mātāwai’s language outcomes and preparation and collation of monthly and final progress reports
- Using your data collection and analysis knowledge and experience to support and advise our key stakeholders and develop reports and recommendations
- Developing strong, strategic relationships with our key stakeholders and representing Te Mātāwai in our community and with other organisations

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and expertise in procurement, contracts, research, evaluation and monitoring
- Proficient in Te Reo Māori and English and experience in working with whānau, hapū, iwi and Māori organisations
- Survey design experience
- Passionate about the revitalisation of Te Reo Māori
- Proficient across the MS Suite
- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
- Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environment and across the wider organisation
- Sound understanding of tikanga and Treaty of Waitangi Principles
