**The opportunity**

Our programme leads deliver programme of 3 waters capital projects that meet the needs of our Client Councils in the Wellington region. We collaborate with our consultant and contractor panels to support them to deliver safely, on time, within budget and meet strategic outcomes. We mitigate risks, and work with the wider teams within Network Development and Delivery group to support the positive and high-performance team culture of programme delivery through our supply chain whānau.

The delivery lead maintains programme coherence with strategy and planning, technical and specialist standards, and interfaces with other programmes and corporate. You will be proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions to ensure that projects meet the requirements to progress through the defined governance gateways.

**About you**

Apart from being technically capable, you are confident maintaining excellent relationships, internally and externally. You present and engage with senior leadership at a strategic level, and effectively lead changes to programme outcomes collaboratively. You are highly numerate with a good level of commercial acumen. Does you experience show?
- 10 years of infrastructure-related project management experience, with at least 5 years’ experience working on complex projects and/or programmes
- developing and maintaining best practice processes to the management, planning, design and implementation of programs
- Understanding of business case and investment drivers
- Managing performance within an integrated supply chain model
- Demonstrable success delivering value focused programme outcomes
- Involvement in a programme with significant community engagement activity and sensitivities
- Financial analysis and forecasting skills
- Knowledge of the Resource Management Act and consenting process
